No more to be landed here

Keith Hudson

The EU is breaking, not because its monetary system is a wreck — that may happen next week — but because it can no longer keep up to its cherry-picked version of human nature.  While various European . . . country Navies are rescuing migrants from drowning in the Mediterranean, and depositing them in Italy, France and Austria are shutting their doors to any further movements inwards.  Likewise, Greece is shutting its door to migrants coming through Turkey.

How long will it be before Italy says: “No more migrants to be landed here either!”?  Is this Prime Minister Renzi’s Plan B?
